2021 Madzia's Vineyard Pinot Noir

Madzia's Vineyard is Michael Staiger's planting of Dijon 667 Pinot Noir in the beautiful Bennett Valley of Sonoma County.  The 2021 Madzia's is Sandler's 3rd vintage from this property.  We finally saw a fire free harvest season for 2021 in Sonoma, which was welcome news after so many years of devestation. 

Madzia's is the most fruit forward of the Pinots in the Sandler line up and appeals to a wide variety of palates.  It also drinks well young with its silky tannin and moderate acidity.  Expect this 2021 to be drinking well from 2023 through 2030.
