2016 Bien Nacido Vineyard Pinot Noir

The 2016 Bien Nacido Vineyard Pinot Noir is very similar to the 2012 and 2014 wines from this old vine, Block T, clone 22 Pinot Noir.  Planted in 1973 on its own roots, this is the oldest vineyard in the Sandler line up.  Sandler has been working with this block since 2010, and Ed made wine from these same vines from 1999 through 2002 while he was at Testarossa.  This lighter-colored Pinot with full intensity of aroma and flavor should be its best between 2019 and 2025.
