The 2021 Sandler Cortada Alta Vineyard Pinot Noir is the first time we've done a 100% whole cluster fermentation from this site.  This traditional technique goes back to the origins of winemaking, millennia before there were fancy destemming machines.  It produces a wine with more tannin and possibly more ageability than destemmed versions of the same grapes. 

This medium ruby colored Pinot has an intense nose of whole cluster, herbal, earthy notes with some ripe raspberry aromas in the background.  The higher level of tannin predicts a wine which will benefit from some time in the cellar.  Enjoy this from late 2023 through 2035.
