Madzia's Vineyard lies in the heart of Sonoma County's beautiful Bennett Valley. It was planted entirely to Dijon clone 667 by Michael Stagier. He named the vineyard after his daughter Madzia. Michael's son helps with the harvest and trucking of the grapes, so the site is also known as Max's Block. 2024 was one of the ripest years we've seen in Sandler's six vintages at Madzia's, with a very early harvest date of September 8. The '24 will be bottled in September of 2025. Expect it to need a year or two in the cellar, but should drink well through 2035.
