The 2018 Cortada Alta Pinot Noir will be bottled in March 2020. The label showing is the 2017, but this is for the purchase of the 2018.
Cortada Alta Vineyard is the highest site in the entire Santa Lucia Highlands. John Peterson and Ruben Balderas planted this starting in 2014, with Sandler's first harvest being 2017. The Pinot from Cortada Alta is dark and somewhat tannic for Pinot, but beautifully-balanced and should age nicely.
